Creating a soulful portrait requires not only good camera and excellent skills, but it lies in the abilities of the photographer to feel the subtle nuances of emotions within the subject. Being at the beginning of my career as a photographer, I feel blessed. Blessed for not having to learn, but rather contemplate on what helps me create a portrait that lights the soul of a subject.
With Pastor Brown from First Baptist Church of Long Beach was truly easy.

“Oh sky, without me, do not change,
Oh moon, without me, do not shine;
Oh earth, without me, do not grow,
Oh time, without me, do not go.
Others give you the name of Love,
And me the sultan of that love.
Higher than such illusions,
Oh, you cannot go, without me.”
― Rumi, Love: The Joy That Wounds: The Love Poems of Rumi
“When soul rises
You feel the kiss
You have wanted”
The minute I heard my first love story I started looking for you, not knowing how blind that was. Lovers don’t finally meet somewhere. They’re in each other all along. ~ Rumi
“If you desire healing,
let yourself fall ill
let yourself fall ill.”
Conceptual Photography is something that I am naturally attracted to. Expressing emotions, moods is powerful it’s something I will never get tired of capturing and creating!
“And you? When will you begin that long journey into yourself?” ~Rumi
